Videl is a tough and tomboyish girl who was raised with fame all around her where she is also feisty and stubborn, much like Chi-Chi. In the anime parts of the Great Saiyaman Saga, she had an obsession to discover Gohan’s secret identity as the Great Saiyaman. The booklet for the Season 7 Funimation DVD Boxset says that she hates being outdone. This may imply that while she did fight crime in Satan City to protect the people, she also enjoyed the attention that she received and might have become jealous when Great Saiyaman first arrived.
